QuickMilly

How to disable Your VPN

Follow these instructions to disable your VPN or proxy service on your device.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and proxy services can mask your actual location, which may prevent you from accessing QuickMilly even if you're physically located in a supported region. Below are instructions for disabling VPNs on various devices and operating systems.

How it works

1

Built-in Windows VPN

  • Click on the Windows Start button and select Settings (gear icon)
  • Select Network & Internet
  • Click on VPN from the left menu
  • Select the VPN connection you want to disable
  • Click Disconnect
2

Third-party VPN applications (NordVPN, ExpressVPN, etc.):

  • Locate the VPN application icon in your system tray (bottom right of screen)
  • Right-click on the icon and select Disconnect, Turn Off, or similar option
  • Alternatively, open the VPN application and click the disconnect button
3

Browser VPN extensions:

  • Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
  • Click on the extension icon in the top-right corner of your browser

Additional Tips

  • Restart your device:

After disabling your VPN, it's sometimes helpful to restart your device to ensure all network settings are properly reset.

  • Check for proxy settings:

Some browsers or devices might be using proxy settings independently of a VPN. Check your browser's network settings to ensure no proxy is configured.

  • Clear browser cache:

Sometimes your location might be cached. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help resolve this issue.

  • Use cellular data:

If you're on a mobile device, try switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data, as some Wi-Fi networks might route through proxies or VPNs.

After disabling your VPN or proxy service, return to QuickMilly to check if you can now access the service.
